Bangkok Rules

Okay, it's not Monday, and Snake Plissken isn't really a monster. But I'm declaring a Monster Monday nonetheless, because Escape From New York is making the rounds on late night TV these days, and I love that movie. And because we painted the house over Labor Day weekend, and my mind and body are exhausted and I am unable to come up with an original post to save my life.

Luckily I don't have to.

Yes, I realize this clip is from Escape From LA, not New York. Get a life.

The house looks great, by the way.

A good kind of tired? Nice to have "Laboured" on Labour day! And have pleasing results! What's the next project?

Snake, AND Kurt Russell are total coolness.

Thanks for the recent links. The best double feature for ESCAPE is AIR FORCE ONE with Harrison Ford. The same basic plot (AF1 is hijacked and the President's escape pod is jettisoned) and they both take place in 1997! Harrison makes a much better president than Donald Pleasance.

I love Monster Mondays! (That Snake is a charmer, huh? Hehheh...get it? Snake? Charmer? Ok, I'll stop now.)

Yes, Maggie, my love of cheesy movies knows no bounds. Spaghetti westerns, Japanese monsters, 70s exploitation - all the same to me.

You need to see that movie again, Meno. Trust me.

Gordo, if Snake was running for President, he'd get my vote.

Moi, the next project is cleaning upform the previous project. Ever paint a house with 2 little ones running around underfoot?

Hard to believe the same guy who played Snake played the kid in The Computer Wore Tennis Shoes, Gary. Thanks for stopping by!

The Babe In the Universe visited my site! I'm not worthy! Hope I didn't mangle your theories about black holes too much, Babe. I like the idea of them being everywhere, like lost pennies.

Mona, that pun was so bad it hurt.
