Snapshot

My sister and I in the photo booth at the Kresge's in downtown Ottumwa, Iowa, sometime in the late sixties. Clearly, she feels I am not smiling broadly enough.

That's a great shot.

I've been thinking about siblings all day because I just dropped my sister off at the hospital since she's expecting any day now.

I think it shows how silly and close you two were back then. Are you two still close today?

We did those booths too only at K-Mart or Woolworths! I think they still have them somewhere...and maybe still in B & W!

I hate to descend into unbridled gooey girly squealing, but that is SO CUTE!

Now I want to take my two and toss them into a photo booth to see what will happen (or we can do the at-home Macbook version...). Course, it's gotta be B&W!!!

(You may want to print this post and comments out on archival-quality paper and put in a safe somewhere. It's got meno doing unbridled gooey girly squealing.)

Thats a really cool picture. I would have pictures like that, but there were just never any kid pictures of me. I guess my dad got his camera after I was through the "he's fun to photograph stage" so he got most of his work in on my sisters. And my only camera that would have pictures like that was stolen when I was in New York.

Reminds me of something I'd do to my younger brother! :)

Ottumwa? Really? I'm with Eric...my first thought was of Radar O'Reilly and his teddy bear.

You should use that on the front of your Christmas cards this year..."Mmmphh Chrrrmmmss".
